Thai Luxe Enterprise (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of PP Prime Public Company Limited, a manufacturer and distributor of aquatic animal/pet food, has implemented environmental management to reduce the impacts from animal feed production around the establishment, the factory in Nong Chumphon Subdistrict, Khao Yoi District, Phetchaburi Province.
It has been assessed for air pollution (odor from the animal feed production process) and implemented the following management measures to prevent the impacts:
– Attended a local community meeting in Nong Chumphon Subdistrict, Khao Yoi District and explained the odor from animal feed production, communicated and made people in the area understand. The company has measures to check and improve the odor treatment system more frequently and has a plan to survey odors in the surrounding community, as well as organize activities for society and the environment.
– Conducted inspections and assessments in collaboration with government agencies, Nong Chumphon Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Khao Yoi District, Phetchaburi Provincial Industry Office, Natural Resources and Environment Office, Pollution Control Office 8, and recorded the inspection. Ask the establishment to proceed with the next steps.
– Conduct a survey of environmental impacts in the communities surrounding the establishment, and have measures to communicate and understand about the odors from animal feed production and regularly monitor the impacts
together with community leaders and local officials.
– Conduct odor measurements by a consulting company, collect odor samples for analysis
in the laboratory to prevent values from exceeding the legal limit, and report the results to the Nong Chumphon Subdistrict Administrative Organization, the provincial industry, and relevant agencies.
