🚩PP Prime Public Company Limited and Thai Lux Enterprise (Thailand) Company Limited are conducting the 2025 Fire Drill and Evacuation Training Program through the company’s Occupational Safety and Health Office.
✅Rationale:
To equip employees with the skills and abilities to quickly and effectively use fire extinguishing equipment to suppress initial fire incidents, prevent and suppress initial and severe fires, reduce loss of life, property, and the environment, and apply this knowledge in their work and daily lives.
✅Training Objectives:
1. To comply with the Ministerial Regulation on Standards for Management and Operation of Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Environment related to Fire Prevention and Suppression B.E. 2555, Section 30, which requires employers to arrange for all employees to participate in fire drills and evacuation training at least once a year.
2. To enhance the skills of boiler operators in responding to boiler explosions, the firefighting team’s response skills in fire incidents, the fire evacuation skills of all employees, and the risk management skills of the fire director.
3. To create safety awareness among employees and encourage their participation in fire drills. Emergency Response Operation
📌🚒🔥Simulated Scenario: Fire in a 20,000-liter Diesel Fuel Storage Tank
🔹A truck driver transporting raw materials secretly discarded a cigarette butt near the fuel tank, causing a fire.
🔹The head of the raw materials warehouse quickly used a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire near the fuel pipeline.
🔹The fire spread closer to the 20,000-liter fuel tank and could not be extinguished.
🔹The fire director ordered the emergency team leader to the scene and connect the water hose to the fire host cabinet, while also ordering the evacuation of employees to the assembly point.
🔹One employee was found missing; their right leg hit a pallet while running, preventing them from evacuating to the assembly point. The director ordered a search until the employee was brought to the assembly point.
🔹Once the fire was extinguished, the director declared the situation back to normal.
