PP Prime Public Company Limited and Thai Lux Enterprise (Thailand) Limited, in collaboration with the Phetchaburi Provincial Labor Protection and Welfare Office,
are implementing the “Good Workers Based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy” project. They received plant seeds from the Phetchaburi Labor Protection and Welfare Office on March 19, 2025, for cultivation within their workplaces. These companies were selected as model businesses with readiness in vegetable cultivation, based on the principle of promoting the efficient use of available resources by employers and employees, adding economic value, generating income, reducing expenses, and achieving self-reliance during crises, in accordance with the philosophy of the sufficiency economy and promoting a sustainable quality of life.
The objectives of this project are to improve employee health by providing access to fresh, pesticide-free vegetables, facilitating the exchange of knowledge on proper safe vegetable cultivation methods, ensuring complete nutritional intake, reducing employee living costs, and enabling employees to further develop their skills for future income. To generate future income, the company also cultivates seasonal edible plants such as coconut, mango, and banana trees, and maintains a natural aquatic ecosystem.
The company is mindful of its direct and indirect impact on its employees, the organization, and the environment. This begins with instilling environmental awareness in employees through various projects that increase green spaces, reduce carbon emissions, decrease heat and dust, and contribute to community knowledge sharing.
The goal is to promote better health, happy employees, a sustainable organization, and a more livable world.
This aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2, 3, 8, 11, 12, and 13, focusing on promoting food security with safe and nutritious food, supporting physical and mental health, creating a healthy working environment, setting an example for the community in efficient resource utilization, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from food transportation.
